Saturday is ruled by Saturn. Astrologically, Saturn is responsible for limitations, lessons to be learned, and duties. Saturn is a planet of structure and responsibility. Ultimately, Saturn is the karma balancer.

It is probably for this reason that Saturday is the day devoted to enemies, controlling, cursing, death, limitations, and obstacles.  It is associate with the colors black, grey, and indigo.
