Those experiencing a run of bad luck can turn their bad luck to good by reciting Psalms 4 three times before sunrise.

Psalms 4

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

To ensure success, the petitioner should add the following prayer to their appeal:

May it please thee, oh Jehovah-jireh, to prosper my ways, steps, and doings. Grant that my desire be amply filled, and let my wishes be satified even this day for the sake of thy great and praise worthy name. Amen. Selah.

Psalm 45 – Restoring Harmony in a Marriage

To restore love and romance into a marriage, the husband should recite psalm 45 over a bottle of pure olive oil. He should anoint his body with the oil and then lovingly anoint his wife with the oil. This might be done through a tender massage for example. Similarly, a woman can pray this Psalm over olive oil, anoint herself, then touch her husband lovingly. If she does this, it is said her husband will become more loving, passionate, and agreeable.

The holy name for this Psalm is Elohim Adonai Jah. Elohim is a supreme name of Divinity. Adonai has the meaning of “Lord” and “Father.” The name, Jah, can be found by itself in scripture and should be pronounced in order to establish peace and unity.

The prayer is as follows:

Holy is thy name Elohim Adonai Jah, great exalted and adored Mediator! Great Ruler of hearts, I trust in thee so my wish will be fully realized, for the sake of thy adorable names. Amen.

These are two traditional prayers prayed to St Valentine. The first is a blessing on all lovers and the second is a petition to find a mate.

Blessing on Lovers

Dear Saint and Glorious Martyr,
Teach us to love unselfishly & to
Find great joy in giving. Enable all true lovers
to bring out the best in each other.
Let them love each other in God and in God in each other.

To Find a Lover

Blessed Saint Valentine I come to you with a heart full of love yearning to share its fullness with another. Help me find this person to share my love which I pledge to fill with understanding, courtesy, fidelity, and temperance. Let the laws of kindness rule my life and govern all I do. Be with me on my search, St. Valentine, and guide my way to one who will care for me as I will care for my life’s partner.

Rose of Jericho

The Rose of Jericho is also known as the Resurrection Plant. The Rose of Jericho springs back to life when placed in a small bowl of water. Caring for the plant is said to restore faith, peace, harmony in the home. It is also said to bring prosperity to the home.

Once a week, the water of the Rose of Jericho is poured out on the doorstep to grant protection, remove evil influence, and bring new blessings. The water can also be used to anoint yourself for personal blessings or can be sprinkled on your door to remove all evil.

Place the Rose of Jericho in a bowl of water. Each day pray over the plant giving it instructions. Here is an example from Anna Riva’s Golden Secrets of Mystic Oil. “Thank you God for the blessings I will receive this day. Increase my faith in goodness and mercy so that, as I give these gifts to others they will be returned to me in kind.”

There is a long tradition of using Psalms as prayers and in magical works dating back to antiquity. Today. the Psalms are often recited over candles, oils, floor washes, baths, or at altars to bring desired results. They are recited repeatedly to build energy and power.

Some people find the language of the Psalms cumbersome and awkward. If you are not comfortable with the language of the Psalms don’t use them. It is important to be aligned with the energy and techniques you are using.
